The Nature in Creativity Podcast

Alongside my own writing and photographic practice, I co-host The Nature in Creativity with artist and educator Heather Sarin.

The podcast grew out of our shared interest in understanding creativity at a deeper level. Rather than discussing technique, productivity, or the business of being an artist, we explore the conditions that make authentic creative work possible: attention, perception, clarity, natural inclination, and the often unseen processes that shape a work before it comes into being.

Heather brings decades of experience as an artist and teacher, while I draw on my own work in photography, writing, and the developing ideas behind Three Languages of Light. Together we approach creativity from different perspectives, allowing each conversation to become an open inquiry rather than a lesson or interview.

The Nature in Creativity is an ongoing exploration of the work beneath the work: the quiet movements of perception that sit at the heart of every creative practice.
