Cities are like humans in the sense they can be peaceful and loving while simultaneously full of crime, hatred and violence or beautiful and affluent but also ugly and poverty-stricken – often on the same streets at the same time.
Urban Contrast is a body of work that explores this dual nature of towns and cities.

My body of photographic work is broken into two ongoing series: Urban Contrast and Compatibility Mode. It is primarily high-contrast black and white and explores aspects of humanity, ultimately ending in multiple exposures that convey metaphorical and philosophical concepts which can be found in Urban Dualism and Incarnate Duality.
