Textures of L.A.

How many cameras does one man need? Having many cameras and many lenses causes many photographers grief when it comes to which camera/lens combination to choose when venturing out in the world to photograph.

This photo book represents one day in Downtown Los Angeles with one camera and one lens capturing the textures – I call them textures because that’s what I see first shadows, lights, shapes, lines, and then slowly the people start to fill the geometry. Like many of my trips it really documents my wanderings around while I experience a city, in this instance for the first time.
